His breath so rank, so thick, it could almost be assigned a color.
Purple.
Purple's a good color.
"Fourteeeeeen 'e says! Fourrrteeeeeen!"
A rumbling chuckle.
Eli felt his innards shriveling.
The whole place had gone quiet.
Anymore of this and he would be the proud owner of a
mummified ego.
"Boyo, one less pint in me an' an offer like tha' woulda earnt you
a position as 'anchor for a day'. Tha's not somethin' you can be
awarded more'n once in a life."
Eli had already stopped listening.

Wudun Pistol, Wooden Boots
Collaboration with Corey Loop of Biowulf.
An original, non-somnium-born [NSB] work
based loosely on a family fable with influences from
some of our favorite movies.
Story Intro
On Somnium the people created by Ahbrahm, made of mud
and imbued with the souls of innocents, eventually evolved
into a race of nomads similar to our American Indians. Being
made of mud the more they wander the larger they get, picking
up earth in a sort of snowball effect. At the point of this story
they are roughly 33 feet tall. Duke is of the other race
inhabiting Somnium. The race developed from the clockwork
apes Ahbrahm built to harvest the souls he used to give the mud
people life. Over time they became more and more man-like
and now resemble Neanderthals with flesh stretched over and
interweaving with the gears and clockwork of their former
selves. Our story begins with Duke leaving his wife and home
and wandering the wastes on his giant mammoth-like mount.
This very moment he's heading toward town and looking to get
drunk.

Wudun - The Wrecks That Shipped Shoreszsz
Based wholly on recordings recovered from the estate of my
dead twin brother, whose name (and little by little his life's
work) I've taken on in memoriam, this album serves best as an
introduction to the worlds and people most important to
Somnium99. TWTSS is comprised of several short stories
taking place mainly on False First with a few taking place on
Somnium and Earth as well. The album is tied together by a
play in the style of a Greek tragedy chronicling the journey of
one man from the dying continent of False First to the metal
continent being constructed on the other side of the world.
On a side note. I believe most of these works to be complete
inventions on the part of brother. I no longer believe he
actually had any access to Somnium. It seems that was lost
with our grandfather if not earlier and I may, in fact, be the
first member of our family in possibly four generations to return.
This gives TWTSS a NSB classification.
